Our mind needs as much rest as our physical body. Silence can provide that much-needed rest to our minds to restore and replenish our thoughts.
Most of the time, our mind is occupied with the chaos of the world. There is so much happening in our minds all the time. There is a list of things you want to do, goals you want to achieve, issues you want to resolve and relationships you want to keep up with. We tire our minds so much that we only become confused. A period of silence can be very beneficial because it helps to declutter your mind, allow you to plan efficiently and understand what you really want in life.
Add a bit of quiet time into your routine. You will become more efficient yet feel at ease.
